Aadhaar Card Address Change Process

Address in Aadhaar can be updated online or by visiting an Aadhaar Seva Kendra / Enrollment Center managed by Unique Identification Authority of India.

1️⃣ Online Address Change (My Aadhaar Portal)

Steps:

1. Go to the official portal: https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in

2. Click Login

3. Enter Aadhaar Number & OTP

4. Click Update Aadhaar Online

5. Select Address Update

6. Enter your new address details

7. Upload valid address proof document

8. Pay ₹50 update fee

9. Submit the request and download the Update Request Number (URN) to track status.

⏱ Processing time: Usually 3–7 days.

2️⃣ Offline Address Change (Aadhaar Center)

Steps:

1. Visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrollment Center / Aadhaar Seva Kendra

2. Fill the Aadhaar Update Form

3. Write the new address

4. Submit address proof document

5. Give biometric verification

6. Pay ₹50 update fee

7. Collect Acknowledgement Slip (URN).
