The Common Service Centres (CSC) is a government initiative under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology that allows people to run digital service centers in villages and towns. To open a CSC center, you must register for a CSC ID (VLE ID).
CSC ID Registration Process
1. Go to the Official Website
Visit the official CSC registration portal:
https://register.csc.gov.in
2. Click on “New VLE Registration”
Select New VLE Registration on the homepage.
3. Enter Required Details
Fill in the basic information:
Aadhaar Number
Mobile Number
Email ID
State and District
4. Aadhaar Authentication
Verify your identity using OTP or biometric authentication linked with Aadhaar.
5. Fill Complete Application Form
Provide detailed information such as:
Personal details
Address details
Education qualification
CSC center location
Bank account details
6. Upload Documents
Upload required documents like:
Aadhaar Card
PAN Card
Bank passbook/cancelled cheque
Center photos (inside & outside)
7. TEC Certificate (Mandatory)
You must first complete the Telecentre Entrepreneur Course (TEC) from CSC Academy.
Without TEC certificate, CSC registration will not be approved.
8. Submit Application
After filling everything, submit the form and note the Application Reference Number.
9. Verification & Approval
The CSC team verifies your application.
If approved, you will receive your CSC ID and password.
