The e-Shram Card is a government card for unorganized workers like labourers, farmers, drivers, construction workers, domestic workers, etc. It is issued by the Ministry of Labour and Employment under the e‑Shram Scheme.
After registration, workers receive a 12-digit Universal Account Number (UAN) and can get benefits from government schemes.
e-Shram Card Generate (Apply) Process
1️⃣ Online Self Registration
Go to the official website:
https://eshram.gov.inClick Register on e-Shram.
Enter:
Aadhaar number
Mobile number linked with Aadhaar
Verify OTP.
Fill your details:
Name, address, occupation
Education details
Bank account details
Submit the form.
Your e-Shram card with UAN number will be generated and you can download it.
2️⃣ Apply Through CSC Center
If you cannot apply online:
Visit a Common Service Centre (CSC) near you.
Give your Aadhaar and bank details.
The operator registers you online.
They print your e-Shram card.
