If there is a mistake in your PAN card (name, DOB, photo, signature, address, etc.), you can correct it online through the official portals of Income Tax Department of India using services provided by Protean eGov Technologies Limited (formerly NSDL) or UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited.

1️⃣ Visit the official website
Go to the PAN correction portal of

UTI Infrastructure Technology and Services Limited
2️⃣ Select Application Type
Choose “Changes or Correction in Existing PAN Data”
3️⃣ Fill the PAN Correction Form
Enter details like:
PAN Number
Name correction
Date of Birth
Address
Mobile number & email
4️⃣ Upload Required Documents
You need scanned copies of:
Identity Proof (Aadhar Card / Voter ID / Passport)
Address Proof
Date of Birth Proof
Photo & Signature
5️⃣ Pay the Correction Fee
Approx ₹110 (within India)
6️⃣ Submit the Form
After submission you will receive Acknowledgement Number
7️⃣ Send Documents (if required)
Some applications require sending signed acknowledgement to the PAN service center.
8️⃣ Receive Corrected PAN Card
Corrected PAN card will be delivered by post within 10–15 days.
