If your Aadhaar card has the wrong title like Mr., Mrs., Miss, Shri, Smt., Kumari, or you want to correct it, you can update it online or at an Aadhaar center.

1️⃣ Online Title Correction Process

Through the official portal of Unique Identification Authority of India

Steps:

1. Visit the official website: https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in

2. Click Login

3. Enter your Aadhaar Number & OTP

4. Select Update Aadhaar Online

5. Choose Name Correction

6. Enter the correct Name with Title (Example: Mr. Ramesh Kumar)

7. Upload supporting document

8. Pay ₹50 update fee

9. Submit the request and download the Update Request Number (URN).

2️⃣ Offline Correction at Aadhaar Center

Visit the nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra / Enrollment Center.

Steps:

1. Fill the Aadhaar Update Form

2. Write the correct Name / Title

3. Submit required documents

4. Provide biometric verification

5. Pay ₹50 fee

6. You will get an Update Slip with URN.
