FSSAI Certificate Renewal is required before your license expires to continue a food business legally. It is done through the official portal of the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India.
🔄 FSSAI Certificate Renewal Process
1️⃣ Visit Official Portal
Go to the FoSCoS (Food Safety Compliance System) website
👉 https://foscos.fssai.gov.in
2️⃣ Login to Your Account
Enter User ID & Password
Open your Dashboard
3️⃣ Select Renewal Option
Click “License/Registration”
Choose “Renewal”
4️⃣ Verify Business Details
Check and update details such as:
Business name
Address
Food category
Contact details
5️⃣ Upload Required Documents
Common documents:
Existing FSSAI license copy
Identity proof
Address proof
Food safety management plan (if required)
6️⃣ Pay Renewal Fee
Fee depends on license type:

| Basic Registration | ₹100 per year |
| State License | ₹2000–₹5000 per year |
| Central License | ₹7500 per year |
7️⃣ Submit Application
After submission, you will get Application Reference Number (ARN)
After approval, you can download renewed certificate.
⚠️ Important Rules
Apply at least 30 days before expiry.
Late renewal may include ₹100 per day penalty.
If expired for long, you must apply for a new license.
